The group, made up of suppliers and subcontractors who work on K. Hovnanian Homes, teamed with the Embrace Kids Foundation to help make the Fegels’ holiday a little brighter. Both father and son have cancer, and Kristen is home, taking care of them and Kelly, Brett’s 3-year-old sister. The family, from East Brunswick, asked for luggage for a planned Make-A-Wish trip to Disney World. In addition to the luggage and the cap, the Trade Partners gave the family clothing, toys and gift certificates. “Usually, we work together to build a quality home for a family,” said Mike Kelly, K. Hovnanian’s vice president of construction services. Kelly coordinates the Council. “It was nice to build a happier holiday for a family by helping them directly.”
