East Windsor, NJ - February 3, 2012 - Coastal is the proud recipient of the SPFA 2012 National Industry Excellence Award in the Residential Wall Foam Category. The nominated project was for the HELP USA/Make It Right Foundation Clinton Avenue Urban Renewal Affordable Homes in Newark, NJ.

HELP USA and Make It Right were the foundations that led the enterprise - both organizations that strive to empower those in need by providing safe and affordable low-income, sustainable housing. Del-Sano General Contracting chose Coastal to install closed cell spray polyurethane foam on the project - the best choice for insulating the variety of surfaces within the development, and to obtain a LEED Gold rating on the completed residence.

HELP USA was founded in 1986, and has since grown to become one of the largest developers and operators of service-enriched transitional and low-income permanent housing in the nation. The Make It Right Foundation, established by Brad Pitt to help the families in the Lower Ninth Ward in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, is now a non-profit corporation committed to rebuilding communities throughout the nation. Coastal is proud and honored to have insulated the units of the Clinton Avenue Urban Renewal Affordable Homes that will be going to families determined to become and remain self-reliant.
