In this photo, you can see how the baffles work, separating the fiberglass (and other insulation materials) from the roof deck. This keeps air flowing up your roof deck, and keeps the insulation from touching your roof deck. The byproduct of this process is it keeps air movement from the fiberglass batt. When air flows through a fiberglass batt or any insulation, it reduces that insulation's R-Value significantly.
This is not easy to do, but with the right equipment, knowledge, and elbow grease a vaulted ceiling can be insulated quickly!
In this album you can see our field staff working on scaffolding (made for the inside of a home), and stilts. True professionals know what tools are needed for the job. These guys are trained on the equipment and in safety. Always make sure to use professionals for all of your projects!
Takes experience to work off of stilts. We can get a project done quickly, efficiently, and properly. We are in and out before you even realize it! Speed matters, as long as the job is done with quality. With us you get both on every project!
Mancini Homes custom built this extravagant home in Long Beach Township, NJ. Coastal Insulation had the pleasure of bringing a crew in to insulate and air seal the walls. The home had a cathedral ceiling - which can be very difficult to insulate. Luckily, our crew knows exactly what to do!
When we insulate the home, we look at the entire place as a system. When one part is not correctly insulated, the whole home can suffer from uneven temperatures. With our quality fiberglass insulation and tools, we insulated the walls and the cathedral ceiling with ease. Now this home is on its way to being completed and occupied by a happy family!
