A private boarding school located in Simsbury, CT, Westminster School is one of the top college-prep schools in the nation. Built by Bartlett Brainard Eacott and designed by architectural firm Graham Gund Associates, new academic residences were constructed which will house both student and faculty members. The plans specified Icynene Classic (LD-C-50), an open cell spray foam insulation which is guaranteed by the manufacturer to both insulate and air seal for the lifetime of your building. Coastal Insulation Corp. was the insulation contractor called in to install 10 inches of the open cell foam in the roof line, and an additional 4 inches of foam to the band joists around the perimeter of each building.
